MORE ABOUT ME:

1-. Yes, Ardella Eagle is my real name. It isn't a stage name, nom-de-plume or an alias. My paternal grandfather's family is from Austria and the name is either a shortened version (Eagelwitz or Eagelstein) or it is a derivation of an Austrian word (that escapes my memory) that means 'hedgehog'. I kid you not.

2-. I'm a lefty. Yes, I'm sinister.

3-. I was raised in a Jewish home.

4-. I'm on my second husband.

5-. I've traveled to Greece alone and:

--climbed an active volcano in sandals (Okay, so, it hasn't erupted in about 6,000 years)
--sat in the agora where Socrates and Aristole taught
--got lost in the hills while searching for Homer's tomb (I tell you, it was quite the Odyssey!)
--sat on a beach, making out with a guy from Ireland (whose name escapes me. Hey! We were only kissing!) with the full moon setting over one shoulder and the sun rising over the other.

...I don't speak Greek!

--Does that count as four or is that part of the one? Oh, well, I'll continue...--

6-. I sang on stage at Jones Beach with Pat Benetar.

7-. Hung out after a concert with Dr. John and Meat Loaf. Not at the same time, mind you; two different concerts, two different occasions.

8-. Stayed at the Rainbow Room atop of Rockerfeller Center 'til closing time. I've closed down the Rainbow Room.

9-. Won a first place trophy in a figure skating competition when I was around ten. It was sponsored by PepsiCola (Pepsi On Ice. Clever, no?) and I was the only applicant in my group. I won by default.

10-. I wanted to be a doctor because my father worked at a hospital.
